We are sad to announce that on February 4, 2024, at the age of 71, Velma Lee Peters of Coushatta, Louisiana, born in Natchitoches, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Wiley Phillips and Lorena Phillips. She is survived by : her children, Christina McDonald, Angela Hunter, Shannon Greer and Vernon Phillips; and her siblings, Betty Deets, Richard Lynn Phillips, Paul Phillips and Annie Cheatwood. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
