With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vida Mavis Cason (Coushatta, Louisiana), who passed away on November 5, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Larris Cason; her son Richard "Ricky" Cason; her parents, Roy Frantom and Ezell Doolittle; her stepfather Norrie Doolittle; her stepbrother Frank "Buddy" Doolittle; and her sister Mayo Gallien Vascocu.

She is survived by : her children, Tony Cason (Kay) and Brenda Riggs (Paul); her sister Dora Crow; her stepbrother Billy Doolittle; her grandchildren, Paul Riggs, Richard Cason (Amber), Matt Cason (Jordan) and Kyle Riggs; her great grandchildren, Connor, Chandler, Chase Cason, Archer, Gunner and Walker Cason; and her grandchildren, Brooklyn, Violet and Levi Riggs. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
