He was predeceased by: his wife Verline Chapman Olinde; his parents, Humphrey Theodore Olinde and Elsie Marie Heck Olinde; and his siblings, Joseph B. Olinde, Elizabeth Wilson, Elsie P. "Pat" Laurent, Humphrey T. "Bubber" Olinde and Henry "Heck" Olinde (Diane).
He is survived by: his children, Anna O. Oleson (Eric), Fred Olinde (Melanie) and Bill Olinde; his grandchildren, Katherine Olinde, James Olinde and Anna M. Olinde; and his stepgrandsons, Max Wild Oleson, James Tracy and Nick Tracy. He is also survived by 25 nieces and nephews.
