He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Paul Russell and Alma Hebert Russell; and his siblings, Henry C Russell Sr., Carmel R. Breaux, Clara R. LeBlanc, Ernest J. Russell Sr., Lionel D. Russell and Carole Ann R Fortmayer Haynes.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne P. Russell and Gene M. Russell; his wife Claire E. Russell; and his sons, Michael Wayne Russell, Thomas Jude Russell, Christopher Martin Russell and Gabriel Dean Russell. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Bagnell & Son Funeral Home (75212 Lee Rd, Covington, LA 70435). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
