With sadness, we share the passing of Ann Lee David Bernardi (Covington, Louisiana). Ann, born on December 26, 1935 in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on September 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Ann for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Mae Kerner and Albert "Buck" Lewis David, Jr.; and her husband Lionel August Bernardi. She is survived by: her children, Glenn David (Gretchen) of Gruy, Angele (Gary) of Gruy Darling and Ann (David) of Gruy Jemison; and her sister Margaret "Sweet Pea" Bankston. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the E. J. Fielding Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at the Pinecrest Memorial Gardens (2280 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433).
