He is survived by: his wife Katie Laurant; his children, Arthur Alvin Laurant, Jr. of Louisiana, Alicia Aileen Laurant of California and Clarice Harriet Laurant of California; his grandchildren, Bailey Therese Manego, Leila Laurant Paige and Anthony Lewis Cook of California; his godson Edward; his cousin Monique Laurant Rollins (Matthew Winston) of Texas; his sister Irma; and his cousins, Johnny Laurant, Jr. of California, Jon Laurant (Evelyn) of California and Cheryl Scott (Edward) of Louisiana. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grearter Starlight Baptist Church (521 W 28th Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at the Mandeville Cemetery (1695 Montgomery St, Mandeville, LA 70448).
