He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ballard Palmisano; his children, Bart Palmisano, Jr. (Sheri) and Kimberly Palmisano Allen (Matthew); his grandchildren, Justin Patterson (Liz), Kayce Ingram, Phillip Palmisano (Jocelyn), Lauren Palmisano and George Allen; his great grandchildren, Alex Patterson, Eliza Patterson and Paisley Palmisano; and his siblings, Aline Palmisano Vitale (Joe), Mike Palmisano, Jr. (Pam) and Tony Palmisano (Eva).

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Hospice team at St. Tammany.
