It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Buford Charles Goodwin Jr. (Covington, Louisiana), who passed away on June 28, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Goodwin and Eula Goodwin; his sister Anne Goodwin Meek Nelson; his former wife Dianne Ward Goodwin; his brother William Goodwin; and his stepson Reagan Gibson.

He is survived by: his wife Dannie Goodwin; his brother Gary Goodwin; his stepsons, Dana Gibson and Jeffrey Gibson; and his grandsons, Aidan and Owen Gibson.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Christwood Community Center (100 Christwood Blvd, Covington, LA 70433).
