It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Reeves Sr. of Covington, Louisiana, born in Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sybil Blackwell Reeves and Robert Hercy Reeves, Sr. (Bob); his siblings, Robert Reeves, Jr. (Bobby) and Margaret Reeves (Bebe); and his son-in-law Dr. Christopher Bodin (Chris).
He is survived by: his children, Carla Louise, Charles Edward, Jr. (Ched), Kylan Minette and Kristen Marie (Kristy); his grandchildren, Blake Bodin (Brianna Kora), Bren Bodin, Brooks Bodin, Peyton Reeves, Briley Bodin White (Jaden White) and Braden Bodin; his great grandchild Grey Elise Reeves; and his caregiver Charles. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, in-laws, and friends.
