He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan King and Pearl King; his siblings, Tilman Morgan King, Curtis Carter King and Betty Schelb; and his former wife Patricia Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Marion King; his daughter Deanna King; his stepdaughters, Louette Ragusa, Jolee Sunderland (Andy), Sonja Newman (Chevies) and Micah Bujol (Paul); his grandchildren, Will, Hunter, Annie, Mary and Camille; his sisters, Shirley Aaron, Patsy Hamilton, Norma Sharp, Dianne Clairain (Troy) and Kety Calmes; and his daughter Desiree. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bagnell & Son Funeral Home (75212 Lee Rd, Covington, LA 70435). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (34888 Grantham College Rd, Slidell, LA 70460).
