He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Kristin Peterson (Brian) of Covington, Allison Cheatwood (Scott) of Monroe, Matthew Powers of Madison, WI and Tori Powers of Covington; his grandchildren, Hanley Cheatwood, Tanner Peterson, Gavin Smith, Lelia Cheatwood, Kylie Peterson and Marybel Cheatwood; and his siblings, Brenda Barnes, Phyllis Penland and Will Powers, Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
