He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles A. Reutzel and Elizabeth "Dibby" Reutzel. He is survived by : his close friend Ron Cranford (Patti) of Covington, LA..

He established The Reutzel Foundation, a charitable foundation in his family's namesake, that provides donations to multiple public charities and scholarships recipients in Northwest Arkansas.
