He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shella; his children, Abel, Jolie and Trevor; his children-in-law, Sarah, Tim and Julie; his grandchildren, Ellie, Paige, John Edgar, Schafer, Joshua, Stephen, Rhett, Charlie, Amelie and Anna; his sisters, Suzanne, Connie and Sharon; his nieces and nephews, Michelle, Todd, Nic and Stephanie; and his parents, Edgar V. Schafer Jr. and Barbara Brown.
