He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Core and CoraLee Core; his son Christian "Kit" Core (Tara Lott); and his siblings, Barney Core, Norma Jean Coleman (Warren), Marilyn Joiner (Ray) and Mary Catherine Howell (Glen).
He is survived by: his wife Marianne Laborde Core; and his children, Tara Baudean (Paul), Noelle Huval (Chris) and Travis Core (Vicki). He is also survived by 13 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the E. J. Fielding Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Core Cemetery Core Cemetery.
