Besson Jr. of Covington, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on August 8, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Thompson Besson; his parents, Edwin J. Besson, Sr. and Claudia LeBlanc Besson; and his sister Olga B. Rushing F. S.. He is survived by: his daughter Barbara Besson Antoine (Alan); his grandsons, David B. and Jared M. Antoine (Rachel); his great grandchildren, Carson and Evelyn Antoine; and his sisters, Marie Jacqueline B. Wilcox and Martha B. Carrier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Besson may be made to Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans.
