We are sad to announce that, on March 9, 2026, at the age of 92, Emile Meilleur Jr. of Covington, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Emile shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Emile farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amelia Capponi Meilleur and Emile A. Meilleur Sr.; his wife Ida McDougald Meilleur; and his sister Althea Cuccio. He is survived by: his daughters, Rene'Birkle (Kent) and Michele Dufour; his granddaughter Savannah Dufour Bandi (Brandon); and his sister Marie Celino. He is also survived by niece and nephew.
