He is survived by: his sister Mary Virginia Fairfax-Bernard (late Joseph Grima Bernard); and his sibling's children, Marcelle Grima Bernard, Marie Celeste Bernard-Bitchatch (Tom), John "Jeff" Fairfax Bernard (Erin) and Joseph Grima Bernard, Jr. (Seunghee). He is also survived by two great nieces and one great nephew.
