George Stringer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2023, at the age of 42, George Stringer of Covington, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Joseph and Dixie Provost; his grandparents, Myrtis Fortenberry Stringer, Reverend JB and Addie Lee Turnage; and his cousins, Stephen Stringer and Shelly Dwight Turnage.
He is survived by: his children, Makayla, McKenzie Stringer and Awston Pierce Holcomb; his parents, Darlene Stringer and Wayne Turnage (Katherleen); his grandson Mallox; his sisters, Shranda Turnage (Resa McCain) and Crystal Gayle Holcomb (Sawyer Wayne Holcomb-Hylton); his extended family, Charles Wayne and June Holcomb; his partner's sons, Blaine, Brendan and Bentley; and his stepchildren, Cade and Hadleigh Bourgoyne. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.
