He was predeceased by: his father Harry Straight; his wife Janice Hankins Straight; his mother Bessie Hatfield Straight of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his brother Wayne Straight of Las Vegas, Nevada.. He is survived by: his sister Silvia Moltman of Alpine; and his sisters-in-law, Ann Hankins of Eatonton, Kay Hankins Cagle (Lake Oconee) of Eatonton and Georgia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a favorite charity or to any local animal shelter or to the ASPCA.
