He was predeceased by: his parents, Valcin Brown Sr. and Margaret Lauzervich; his siblings, Edna Hernandez, Clarence Brown, Hodges Brown and Elton Brown; and his son-in-law Kevin Hanzo.
He is survived by: his wife Ada Brown; his daughters, Debbie Ponseti (Kyle), Annette Curren and Sharon Bourg (Stephen); his grandchildren, Monica Hanzo, Jessica Hanzo, Patrick Curren, Blake Bourg and Brandon Bourg; his stepgranddaughters, Danielle Ponseti-Gray (John-Mark), Valerie Ponseti and Samantha Ponseti; and his great grandchildren, Maisy and Myles. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
