He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Albert McCarthy, Jr. and Doris C. McCarthy. He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald McCarthy Andre (Ilona), Kenneth McCarthy (Shirley), Eileen Charitat and Darleen McCarthy (Tammy Shiner); his former spouses, Kathy Chavanell and Corby Bragg; and his cousins, Brenda Butcher, Kathryn Green (Wesley), Paul Hebert and Michael Hebert.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Covington Presbyterian Church (222 S Jefferson Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
