He was predeceased by: his mother Camilla Ceska Livermore; his wife Phyllis Livermore; his brothers, Carl Livermore, Pete Livermore and Douglas Livermore; and his sister-in-law Edna Livermore.

He is survived by: his children, Michelle Livermore, Courtney "Cici" Livermore and James R. Livermore, Jr.; his grandchildren, Christina Komfort, Drew Reed, Jordan Reed and Natalie Livermore; and his sisters-in-law, Laurie Livermore and Erin Powers-Livermore. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
