He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Blossman and Opal Blossman; his wife Betty Gottfried Blossman; and his brother Jerry Blossman. He is survived by: his children, Renda Simoneaux (Brandon), James S. Blossman III and Rebecca Blossman-Ferran; his brothers, Mike Blossman and Tommy Blossman; and his grandchildren, Sidney, Samuel, Harrison Simoneaux, Elizabeth and Haas Ferran.
A memorial service was held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the American Legion Post 16 (2031 Ronald Reagan Hwy, Covington, LA 70433).
