With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Alan Mahan (Covington, Louisiana), born in El Paso, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2026 at the age of 61. He was predeceased by: his father Billy George Mahan. He is survived by: his mother Maria Guadalupe Halguin; his siblings, Maria LaFosse (James), Mary Ann Mahan and Billy G. Mahan; and his friend Rick Breaux.
