He was predeceased by: his wife Meredith Herndon; and his sons, Kenny Herndon and Johnny Herndon (Paula Leblanc). He is survived by: his daughter Ann Corcoran; his brother Truman Herndon; and his grandchildren, Angel Lincoln Mardis, Crystal Green, Amy Cheney, Shawn Herndon, Kyle Herndon, LeighAnn Engle, Chet Hebert, Daynon Corcoran, Kate Corcoran, Tanner Corcoran and Brenna Corcoran. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the charity of your choice.
