We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2025, at the age of 84, Lois Arthene Leonard Sundquist (Covington, Louisiana), born in Gunnison, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Leonard and Esther Verheul Leonard. She is survived by: her husband Blair Sundquist; her children, Bert Sundquist of Franklinton, LA, Dwayne Sundquist (Linda) of Slidell, LA, Kimberlee Gelbke (Paul) of Madisonville, LA and Scot Sundquist (Cara) of Kenner, LA; her grandchildren, Stephen Sundquist (Missy), Elena Sundquist, Jessica Sundquist (Jay), Brandon Sundquist, Rachel Faughn (Dylan), William Sundquist, Lily Sundquist and Autumn Sundquist; and her siblings, Verna Gleason, Arthur Leonard and Robert Leonard.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Covington Presbyterian Church (222 S Jefferson Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
To honor Lois' life of faith and service, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Covington Presbyterian Church.
