It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Beaucoudray Steilberg of Covington, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on January 12, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Steilberg Sr.; her parents, Fernand Beaucoudray and Laurentine Hyver Beaucoudray; and her siblings, Harold, Raymond, Fernard Jr. and Lucille.
She is survived by: her children, James Jr. (Earline), Daniel (Nungky), Thomas Sr., Ronald Sr., Robert Sr. (Beryl), Donald Sr. (Debbie), Terri Schallenberg (Herman) and Cheryl Firmin (Albert); and her grandchildren, Tracy (Jason), James III, Theresa (Denis), Cherie (Wayne), Thomas Jr., Carrie, Kelly, Timothy, Kristian, Justin, Robert Jr. (Bri), Brandi (Brandon), Donald Jr., Kelsi, Casey, Jessica (Adam), Paul Jr., Emily (Chris) and Austin (Taylor). She is also survived by her 21 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren.
