It is with sadness that the passing of Margaret Comer Mashburn of Covington, Louisiana is shared. Margaret, born on February 17, 1944, passed away on September 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Joseph Comer and Margaret Rennie Comer. She is survived by: her husband Donald Neal Mashburn; her children, Sharon Oxmann (David) and Donald Neal Mashburn, Jr. (Noelle); her grandchildren, Brooke Flemming (Steven Comeaux), Sydney Jones (Christopher), Beaux Mashburn, Reese Mashburn and Quinn Mashburn; her great grandchildren, Sophia Jones, Charlotte Jones, Cash Comeaux and Millie Comeaux; and her sister Kathleen Comer. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (129 N New Hampshire St, Covington, LA 70433).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Margaret's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital (https://www.stjude.org), Ronald McDonald House, or Alzheimer's Disease Research.
