It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Valliant (Covington, Louisiana), who passed away on January 23, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph William Bell and Margaret McCombs Bell. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Heather Valliant and Sean Valliant (Kristen); her grandchildren, Sean Michael Valliant, Jr. and Sarah Kate Valliant; her siblings, Roberta Cook, Ronald Bell and Marian Margetson (Bruce); her niece Katie Cook (Tom Rietmann); and her nephews, Peter Cook (Martha), David Bell (Beth) and Ian Margetson (Tristan).
