He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lynne Thames; and his daughters, Jennifer Marie Thames and Stephanie Lynne Thames. He is survived by: his brother Charles Thames.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the E. J. Fielding Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2280 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433).
