She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Collins and Mary Louise Cripps Collins; her brother David Collins; and her husband Richard C. Weixel, Jr.. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Richard S. Weixel (Nicole) and Susan M. Weixel; her brother Embry Collins; her siblings-in-law, Carolyn W. Medley, Judy Weixel, Kay Collins, Frances Collins and Leo Weixel; and her grandchildren, Isaac Weixel, Madison Wolcott, Elijah Weixel and Caleb Weixel.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Et E. J. Fielding Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM. A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at the Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2280 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433).
