He is survived by: his parents, Elizabeth Nicole Dickey and Roger G. Hurd; his siblings, Tristion Hurd, Ashlynn Hurd and Railynn Taylor; his girlfriend Madison Rodriguez; his grandfather William Hopkins; his aunt Melissa Dickey (Ron Green); his cousins, Courey Hopkins and Landon Green; and his nephews, Mason Taylor, Eli Buckley, Lawrence McNeil, Matthew McNeil and Noah Buckley. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the E. J. Fielding Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A procession was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the St. Tammany Parish (19375 LA-36, Covington, LA 70433). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the E. J. Fielding Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Operator Nikk Hurd may be made to St. Tammany Parish Fire District #12 or to the St. Tammany Outreach for the Prevention of Suicide (S.T.O.P.S.).
