With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norman James Gaspard (Covington, Louisiana), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2025 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Murphy Pierre Gaspard and Mable Mary Gaspard; and his siblings, Elliot R. Gaspard (Sybil), Eugene G. Gaspard (Dora) and Voneal M. McDonald.
He is survived by: his daughter Wendy Bird (James) of Covington; and his grandchildren, Andrew Bird (Elizabeth) of Slidell and Sydney Bird of Mandeville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many wonderful lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Norman may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
