She was predeceased by: her father John Gaspard; her husband Bernard Smith Sr.; her brothers, Glenn Gaspard and Willard Gaspard; and her great grandchild Kaylee Sharp.

She is survived by: her parent Ordine Gaspard; her children, Tonia Crockett (Robert), Bernard Smith Jr. (Rita) and Michelle Langford (Kenny); her grandchildren, Erick Sharp Jr., Robbie Crockett, Keagan Smith, Shelby Turgeau and Cameron Langford; her great grandchildren, Brennan Sharp, Natalie Alexie, River Crockett, Charlie Turgeau and George Lee Turgeau Jr.; her siblings, Darnell Gaspard (Chuck) and Cheryl Gaspard Rindflesch (Mike); and her sister-in-law Ann Gaspard. She is also survived by her many family members and friends.
