He was predeceased by: his parents, Raynord Cornelius, Sr. and Melvina Batieste; and his brother Samuel Cornelius. He is survived by: his son Raynord James; his grandson Raynord James, Jr.; his great grandchild Cypher James; and his sisters, Dr. Vivian E. Cornelius, Adrian B. McDonald (Lorenzo) and Monique Dominick (Robert). He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home (75212 Hwy 437, Covington, LA 70435). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
