He is survived by: his wife Carmen Hernandez Theriot; his children, Richard Paul Theriot Jr. (Karen), Christine Theriot Russo (Rocky) and David Michael Theriot (Lizzie); and his grandchildren, Christopher Theriot, Lily-Grace Theriot, Rocky Russo, Sophie Russo, David Theriot Jr. and Amelia Theriot. He is also survived by many family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Funeral Home (450 Holy Trinity Dr, Covington, LA 70433). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 12:05 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Lazarus of Bethany Memorial Garden (450 Holy Trinity Dr, Covington, LA 70433).
