He is survived by: his wife Treva Treadway Cairns; his children, Robert E. Cairns, III, Ashley Anne Cairns Barger, Chantel Gandy (Chuck) and Laura Brancewicz (Jack); and his siblings, Richard W. Cairns (Pam) and Laura Cairns Dugre. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, friends.
