With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert William Hazard Sr. of Covington, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 12, 2025 at the age of 79. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John J Hazard, II and Joyce Van Hazard; and his children, Robert Jr. (Cherie), Dr. Elizabeth Fritz (William) and Mark (Stacy).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the E. J. Fielding Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ej Fielding Funeral Home (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery (2280 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433).
Bob spent the last years of his life around family and friends always enjoying a good meal as well as donating to several Mississippi Gulf Coast Casinos.
