She was predeceased by: her parents, Bart Sharp and Audrey Galloway Sharp; her son Christopher Cordell; her brothers, Terry Sharp and Jimmy Sharp; and her sister-in-law Christine Jenkins Sharp.
She is survived by: her husband Rickey G. Cordell; her sister Betty Smith (Eddie); her brothers-in-law, Ronney Cordell and Jim Cordell (Patricia); and her friend Tamara Bougeious. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the E. J. Fielding Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at the Pinecrest Memorial Gardens (2280 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433).
