He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam J. Collett, Sr. and Laura Mannino Collett; and his brother Anthony "Tony" Samuel Collett. He is survived by: his wife Tonda Spillman Collett; his son Sam J. Collett, III (Taylor); his sister Frances Collett Williams (Rick); and his friend Dawn Amacker.
