Sonia Chalona Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2022, at the age of 78, Sonia Chalona (Covington, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cooper and Elaine Cooper; her husband Bert Wayne Chalona; and her daughter Karen Norris. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Chalona (Melissa) and David Chalona (Noelle); her grandchildren, Vivien, Haley, Abby, Niko, Isabel, Natalie, Eva and Emily; and her siblings, Johnny Cooper Jr. (Tisa), Gary Cooper Sr. (Barbara) and Gloria Solorzano (Francisco). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
