With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stanley Roberts Hobart (Covington, Louisiana), born in North Amherst, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 98. He was predeceased by: his former wife Marilyn Favret; his siblings, Russell and Marion; and his parents, Clarence Hobart and Ruth Shurtleff Hobart.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Lynn Dutsch Hobart; his daughter Stephanie "Stevie" Brevé (Nelson); and his stepchildren, Weller "Jay" Huhn (Maria), Glynn Huhn (Julie) and Nancy Johansen (Erik). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waldheim Church (77067 Hwy 21, Covington, LA 70435). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stan's memory to Northshore Food Bank.
