He was predeceased by: his former wife Marilyn Favret; his siblings, Russell and Marion; and his parents, Clarence Hobart and Ruth Shurtleff Hobart.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Lynn Dutsch Hobart; his daughter Stephanie "Stevie" Brevé (Nelson); and his stepchildren, Weller "Jay" Huhn (Maria), Glynn Huhn (Julie) and Nancy Johansen (Erik). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
