He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Ogden and Ivan Ogden. He is survived by: his siblings, Gene, Bob, Charlie, Jim and Julie; his siblings-in-law, Ruth, Dorothy, Barbara, Wanda and Duane; his son Jeff (Amy); his grandchildren, Carla (Tim), Sterling and Devon; his parents-in-law, Milton and Marcia Smith; his uncle Walter Long; his wife Toni; his sister-in-law Evelyn; Jennifer (Doug) and Scott (Tami). He is also survived by uncle and is survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Garden Room at Christwood Retirement Community (100 Christwood Blvd, Covington, LA 70433).
In lieu of flowers the family is asking to consider a donation to Alzheimer's Association or BrightFocus Foundation, Alzheimer's Disease Research.
