He is survived by: his wife Christie Maly Sims; and his children, Kim Joy Sims Ferguson, Rhonda Ann Sims Wilson (John), Audie Wayne Sims (Pamela), Marc Sims (Bobbie Blackmon) and Aaron Wayne Sims (Erica). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
