She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Giles and Iona Mae Giles (Morgan); her husband Kenneth Montie; her children, Mark Montie and Stephanie Benson; her grandchildren, Rushonda Benson and John Mark Montie; her great grandchild Kaiden Tidwell; her in-laws, Hun and Rose Montie; her sister Liz Boudreaux (Perry); and her in-law Mary Theriot (Winston).
She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Tidwell (Tommy) and Phyllis Montie (Jarine); her daughter-in-law Ellen Montie; her grandchildren, Tonya Montie, Rusty Benson (Shelly), Robbie Montie (Allie), Jacob Benson and Cherie Tidwell; her great grandchildren, Kinley (Brandon), Brailyn (Dakota), Austin, Zoey, Abbie, Randy O'Neil, Juliette, Selena and Matthew; and her great great grandchildren, Andie, Alice and Arlowe. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
