She was predeceased by: her former husband Harold Mire, Sr.; her husband Walter Brown, Sr.; her children, Harold Mire, Jr., Ricky Mire, Walter Brown, Jr. and Rosa Brown; her parents, Maurice Menard, and Mary Joanne Hoffpauir Menard, Sr.; and her siblings, Francis Menard, Wilbert Menard, Maurice Menard, Jr., Willie Menard, Mable Pryor, Anna Mae Benoit, Lucy Champagne and Emethile Navarre.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Trahan of Opelousas, Joanne Mire of Morse, Michael Mire (Martha) of Indian Bayou and Mechelle Bellard (John) of Crowley. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
