He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hollier and Aubrey Hollier Prejean. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Lejeune Hollier; his children, Eileen Richard (Russell) and Charles "Chuck" Hollier (Sabrina); his grandchildren, Allyson Hollier-Meredith (Zack), Eric Hollier (Keisha), Mathew Richard (Lydia), Bailey Hollier and Jenna Hollier (Xander); his great grandchildren, Levi Paul Hollier and Aliza Jane Simoneaux; and his sisters, Kathy Workman, Debra Leger (Kenneth), Myrna Bonin (Mike) and Tricia Guillory (Joey). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He has graciously donated his body to LSU Medicine.
