He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Johnson and Beatrice Johnson; and his brother Francis Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Genevieve Mire Johnson; his children, James Wayne Johnson of Crowley, Rachel Ann Johnson of Crowley and Annette Bowers (Harold) of Egan; his grandchildren, Joshua Seaux (Hannah Smith Seaux) of Crowley, Burton Joseph Seaux (Hannah Carrier Seaux) of Egan, Mary Istre Crowley (Darren Istre), Bethany Trahan (Michael Trahan) of Rayne and Susan Haden of Lafayette; his great grandchildren, Liam Haden Sophia Sisson, Noah, Nevaeh, Hunter, Jasmine Seaux, Harley, Matthew, Bella, Aubree, Autumn, Scarlet Seaux, Atticus, Oliver, Azrael Istre and Brooklyn Carriere; and his siblings, Michael Johnson (Patricia) of Lafayette, Jenny Kelehan (Kevin) of Lafayette and Jeffery Johnson of Abbeville.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Duhon Funeral Home - Crowley (1529 Crowley Rayne Hwy, Crowley, LA 70526). A vigil service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 8:00 AM and at 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parkerson Avenue Baptist Church (1116 N Parkerson Ave, Crowley, LA 70526).
