He was predeceased by : his wife Sharon Stewart; his parents, Buddy Stewart and Lula Bella Wirtz Stewart; and his sister Shirley Jean Stewart Hebert. He is survived by : his daughters, Diana Melancon (Cory Melancon), Shelia Romero (Shane Romero), Emily Stewart (Justin Bertrand), Kimberly Stewart (Kevin Menard) and Christina Stewart (Ricky Hamolka); the parent of his children Jean Breaux Broussard; his grandchildren, Brooke Broussard, Madison Melancon, Seth Romero, Skyla Romero, Sage, Klaire Bertrand, Luke Bertrand, Drake Fontenot, Beau Romero, Trevor Young and Braylon Menard; his great grandchildren, Bentley Broussard, Sylas Fontenot and Oaklin Young; and his brothers, Buddy Roger Stewart (Patsy) of Carlisle, LA and Anthony Norman Stewart (Emilie) of Pride, LA.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Duhon Funeral Home - Crowley (1529 Crowley Rayne Hwy, Crowley, LA 70526). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
