With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Comeaux Sr. of Crowley, Louisiana, who passed away on March 17, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Mae Comeaux; his parents, Delmont Comeaux and Agnes McZeal; his stepfather Francis McZeal; his son Chris Mouton; his sister Gladys; his brother-in-law Chester Perot; his siblings, Leroy Comeaux, Delmont Comeaux, Milton Comeaux, Rose Comeaux and Rita Comeaux; his brother-in-law Leon Phillips; and his great-aunts, Ida Dugas and Mathilda Mouton.

He is survived by: his children, Ernest Comeaux, Jr. (Karen), Curtis Johnson (Bridgett), Connie Francis (Edward), Charlotte Evans (Merlin), Phyliss Boyd (Tracy), Angela Mouton (Jerome) and Melanie Comeaux (Jerome); and his siblings, Terry Comeaux, Jerry Comeaux, Junis Eaglin (Jimmy), Geraldine Phillips and Shirley Comeaux. He is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren; seventy plus great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
